Our 3-week west-coast India travel plan started in Trivandrum, continuing on to Kovalam and Varkala – using buses and trains.

From Varkala, we took a train to travel the 169 kms up to Kochi. In Fort Kochi, we expected more of a cultural experience than our previous destinations.
